It all starts with a sentence

Poor writing is nothing new, nor is concern about it. More than half of first-year students at Harvard failed an entrance exam in writing — in 1874. What about 2024? While students focus on getting high scores in reading and use of English when it comes to exams, they keep struggling with the writing section. In this session we will explore together the ‘challenging’ skill of writing while we will set the ground for the dynamics involved when teachers are asked to develop writing skills within the classroom.
