The 2024 Fall Foreign Languages Forum

1 September 2024 - Royal Olympic Hotel

New academic year, new Forum format

The Foreign Languages Forum will take place on Sunday, September 1, 2024, at the Royal Olympic Hotel in Athens. Aimed at discussing the challenges in the education sector and highlighting new educational trends before the start of the school year, this year’s Forum adopts a new format to incorporate more thematic units and activities, enhancing interaction and comprehensive information.

The Forum will feature thematic sessions with academic and commercial presentations covering the latest developments and innovations in foreign language teaching. Participants will also have the opportunity to engage in role-playing activities, where they will be divided into groups and assigned roles to enact scenarios related to teaching, such as parent-teacher meetings, student counseling sessions, or peer teaching demonstrations.

Additionally, experience sharing sessions will be conducted, involving structured group discussions on specific topics or case studies related to the challenges and solutions of English language teaching. Participants will be guided by questions designed to stimulate discussion and encourage the sharing of opinions and experiences.

Finally, there will be free time for visiting the book exhibition and networking, providing participants the chance to meet and exchange ideas and experiences.

We look forward to welcoming everyone to a day filled with knowledge and innovation at the Foreign Languages Forum 2024.
