Interactive Session

with Hara Papadokostaki

The Wall of Reality: A collective voice. No filters.

What really happens in today’s classrooms—beyond lesson plans, coursebooks, and expectations?

The Wall of Reality is an interactive plenary session that puts teachers’ lived experiences at the centre of the Forum. Before the event, participants are invited to respond anonymously to a short digital questionnaire, sharing the challenges they face every day: mixed-ability classes, low motivation, reluctance to speak, classroom management pressures, and parental interference.

Their anonymous voices come together during the plenary to form a collective snapshot of classroom reality. Moderated live, the session reveals shared struggles, recurring patterns, and uncomfortable truths, without judgement, blame, or ready-made answers.

It is not about powerpoints and how to’s. It is about opening the Forum to a fruitful discussion in what truly matters: the real conditions teachers work in, and the realities they are navigating right now.
